8th Grade vs Southport Middle School Win Cougars 8th grade football team beat Southport 8-0 in OT. McCoy Wilson punched it in from 1 yd in OT, and Gavin Smith added the 2 pt conversion. Cougar defense was tough again giving up only 25 yards and zero points. Kellen Zuber and Zach Sible both had 3 tackles for loss, and Parker Aldridge added 2 more. Wilson had 9 assists, Swift 8, Sible & Merriman 7, and Zuber & Anderson 5 a piece. Gavin Smith sealed the deal with a broken up pass in the end zone in OT.
