8th Grade vs Yorktown Middle School (32 - 30) Win Those who missed last night's 8th grade girls basketball game missed one of the best games around! The game was rough and back and forth the entire night. It came down to the very last play as Abbey Malet pulled down a rebound and drove it down full court pull up and swooshed a 3 pointer to send the Greenfield gym into a frenzy! That 3 pointer forced the game into overtime. Again, the Cougars made plays right up until the final moment as Brooklynn Emmering laid up with time expiring to secure a Cougars 32 - Yorktown 30 victory! Cougars' top scorers were Paislee Brown with 11 points, Aubrey Bush with 7 points, and Olivia Reeves with 6 points. Many players made plays to close out this win as a team. The team plays at home Tuesday evening against Connersville.
