Junior High vs Delta Middle School (6 - 1) Win GCJH Blue took down Delta Middle School 6-1 on Monday. A walk by Chesney H put GCJH Blue on the board in the top of the first. GCJH Blue added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Maddie L singled to center field, Delta Middle School committed an error, and Kyla A singled to right field, each scoring one run. Olivia S earned the win for GCJH Blue. The hurler allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking two. Maddie L went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead GCJH Blue in hits. Chesney H, Maddie L, and Kyla A each drove in one run for GCJH Blue. Next up for GCJH Blue is a game against Franklin Central Junior High on Thursday.
